Engines out, enemy incoming, fire on sector four, communications down… and you’ve misplaced the manual. What’s your next move!?

Experience the thrill of real co-operation. Feel the intensity as you join forces in battle against a common enemy, your pulse rushing as you scream at your friend for support!
A feeling of being part of something greater than yourself, a feeling of being needed,
a feeling of accomplishment, a feeling communicated through an experience you’ve never had before.
.
Join us on a journey through time and space! Be prepared to dig deep into your reserves of creativity and unleash the child-like imagination that once enabled cars to fly and dragons to be slain. Teams will be pitted against each other, challenged to outwit and outmanoeuvre a relentless barrage of threats, knowing that only those who can adapt and take action will survive. No presenter, no PowerPoint and only your four team mates to rely on. Are you up for the challenge!?
Goals
As a participant you will:
- develop a personal understanding of what it means to self-organise
- practice context-based leadership in increasingly complex situations
- experience how communication breakdown and overload effect your team and their ability to perform
Description
The course is an experiential learning – learning through reflection on doing – consisting of short intensive multi-task style exercises designed to simulate our demanding environment and lead us to new insights and understanding through observation and retrospect.
To gain genuine knowledge from the experience a participant must:
- be willing to be actively involved in the experience
- be able to reflect on the experience
- possess and use analytical skills to conceptualise the experience
- possess decision making and problem solving skills in order to use the new ideas gained from the experience
WARNING!!! This workshop is a PowerPoint free zone.
